I’m obsessed with planners and everything that comes with them. I was soo happy when I found my perfect planner for this year. I stared at my planner in adoration for hours while my mom just rolled her eyes at me.
I’m going to walk you through how I organize my planners so you can feel #inspired.
Still need a planner? Check out my planner picks for 2017. I’ve listed and broken down my favorites. Or copy me and buy the planner I’m using this year from Rifle Paper Co.
Make an organizational system. I like to color code based on activity. For school work sometimes I use highlighters to show how much time I should spend on each assignment.
Personally, I think Sharpie Pens are the cat’s pajamas, but just find a nice smooth pen because that is super important and makes everything so much better. If you don’t care about writing utensils you can’t hang with me.
Last year, Target had these super rad to-do list sticky notes. I didn’t see them this year, but they have to be out there somewhere. They were an easy addition to my planner.
Things You Might Want to Decorate With:
- She Reads Truth Memory Cards: I love these because they’re high quality, business card-like memory verse cards. They’re a good reminder to do some bible study time and for a little Jesus inspo.
- Washi Tape: Whenever I make mistakes I cover it in my gold washi tape because you can’t see through it. I also use tape to line the edges of weeks that just need a little more color or to highlight something important. You can make use scissors to make the edges fun too!
- Quote Book: Lex inspired me to buy one of these little chunky books filled with quotes. The quotes have cute graphics and hand lettering. If I have a week with lots of empty space I usually slide a quote in. Attach with washi tape or a paper clip!
- Stickers: I found these Create 365 stickers at Michael’s on sale last year (they still have them). The gold ones are perfect for accessorizing and pointing out things I need to do. The colorful ones are more quotes (obvi, because I need A LOT of inspiration to make it through the week).
