Food Finds: Coneflower Creamery

Does anyone else use Instagram to determine what to eat? Maybe it’s just me…probably not though.

I found this cute little ice cream shop on Instagram. They’re local and just opened about a month ago!

Located in the Blackstone District, Coneflower Creamery makes everything fresh from mostly local ingredients on the daily. Their little shop is adorable and smells like fresh waffles and cookies, LOVE!!!

You can get your ice cream in a dish, fresh waffle cone or between two fresh cookies as an ice cream sandwich.

I opted for two scoops, salted caramel and cinnamon apple butter in a waffle cone. It was delightful and tasted like fall heaven.

Mom got a dish (boring, but whatever) with two scoops, archetype coffee and mint chip.

The mint was like fresh mint leaves, which reminded her of the mint they used to get off of the trees in California. In case you can’t tell by that sentence my mom is way cooler than me.

Go give this new local shop some love!

Find them at:

3921 Farnam Street Omaha, NE 68131

Tuesday – Saturday: 12 – 10 p.m. and Sunday: 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Yay for ice cream even though it doesn’t feel like ice cream weather outside.
